Expanding Boundaries at the Boca Raton Museum of Art

Back in the 1960s and 70s, group of pioneering artists produced work and a school of thought which was full of romance and sensuous emotion.

Moving away from the hard-edges that those before them had focused on, these masters created the lyrical abstractionist movement and visitors to the luxury Florida hotel the Chesterfield Palm Beach will this summer be able to immerse themselves in all of the emotion that went into the pieces created during this period.

Between June 10th and August 30th, the Boca Raton Museum of Art will host the Expanding Boundaries - Lyrical Abstraction Selections from the Permanent Collection, and visitors will be able to see how these trailblazers used techniques such as acrylic staining, spontaneous expression and loose paint handling to create beautiful works of art.

After a day at the museum admiring beautiful creations, couples will want to enjoy a suitably romantic evening, and they can do just that with the Sweethearts' Package, which includes a dinner for two, champagne, continental breakfast and two days and one night in a junior or executive suite.
