Lost in Yonkers at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre

Lost in Yonkers is a firm favourite with theatre goers, with its exploration of family, adolescence and pride providing wonderful fun for all.

All facets of family life and the values that hold it together are examined in this play with great comic effect.

The year is 1942 and two young brothers are left in the care of their grandmother, a fearsome and formidable woman who will not put up with any bad behaviour or disrespect from anyone.

She goes out of her way to make life unpleasant for her grandchildren, her daughter Bella, who is slightly slow, and her son Louis, a small-time criminal with delusions of grandeur.

The relationships between all members of the family will be explored in a tale which promises laughter and tears in equal measure.
