Event: Visit Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum
Date: All year
The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is an opportunity for guests at the luxury Florida hotel the Chesterfield Palm Beach to explore an iconic landmark and learn about the local area and its rich history.
Built in 1860, the lighthouse stands tall and proud, with its striking pink exterior visible for miles around.
The museum, built in the newly restored World War II barracks building, houses various indoor and outdoor exhibitions, including Five Thousand Years on the Loxahatchee, which provides a pictorial history of Jupiter-Tequesta.
Other highlights include the Tindall Pioneer Homestead and Pennock Plantation Bell, various history lectures and lots of events to keep children happy.
Couples staying at the Chesterfield Palm Beach may want to take in one of the sunset tours, where visitors will have the opportunity to witness fabulous sunsets and see the Jupiter Light turning on to illuminate the night sky.
Once the sun has gone down, guests can make the half hour journey back to the hotel and enjoy a bottle of chilled Champagne provided by the Get More From Your Stay package.
Those who prefer can substitute the Champagne for a romantic turndown on one evening, traditional afternoon tea for two, an executive two-course lunch for two on one afternoon or a late checkout until 18:00 local time.
