After enjoying a good night's sleep, parents can take the kids to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, an ocean conservation organisation and sea turtle hospital adjacent to Juno Beach, which is one of the most heavily-nested sea turtle beaches in the world and just 25 minutes away from the hotel.

There is fun to be had for everyone at the centre, with visitors able to get up close to these wonderful creatures and learn all about them, their ecosystem and the steps being taken to protect them.

As well as seeing the turtles swim, there are also numerous exhibits for families to enjoy, telling the history of the organisation, how it rehabilitates patients and more.

One of the highlights is the Archelon exhibition, which features a replica skeleton of an ancient sea turtle which lived in the world's oceans 65 million years ago.
