The people of Florida will be treated to a late Christmas present in January, when they will meet and get to know PT Barnum, the man who puts the "show" in showman.

Barnum - The Circus Musical will trace the career of one of the greatest entertainers the US has ever known and explain his belief in the "noble art of humbug", which is another way of saying he is economical with the truth.

His mission is to build a spectacular show where the main attractions are a collection of who society deems as freaks and includes characters such as the oldest woman alive, Joice Heth, and the smallest man on the planet, General Tom Thumb.

The show is a success but things become complicated when his wife Chairy, a source of inspiration and anger at the same time, becomes ill and he agrees to stop touring to be with his beloved.

Following her death, the Prince of Humbug joins forces with James A Bailey and the pair go on to form The Greatest Show on Earth.

Jugglers, trapeze artists and clowns all light up the stage in this production, providing adults and kids with all the entertainment they need.
