Kenny Chesney and LeAnn Rimes in West Palm Beach

Event: Kenny Chesney and LeAnn Rimes in West Palm Beach
Date: August 28th 2008

Country music fans staying at luxury Florida hotel the Chesterfield Palm Beach this summer are in for a double whammy of entertainment at the Cruzan Ampitheatre.

Playing on August 28th will be Kenny Chesney and LeAnn Rimes as part of the Corona Extra 2008 Country Megaticket.

The Cruzan Ampitheatre is no stranger to hosting big-name events, this May UK band Radiohead are playing while other acts to grace the stage in 2008 include Fergie of Black Eyed Peas fame, Sheryl Crow, Pearl Jam and the Police.

Chesney is currently reigning Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year while Rimes made her name at an early age with such hits as How Do I Live and Can't Fight The Moonlight, which featured along with a number of Rimes' other songs on the soundtrack of the hit film Coyote Ugly.

Describing music as the "current that's always run through my life, happy and sad", Chesney has penned songs such as Who You'd Be Today and Like Me.

"Look I believe we're here to enjoy life, have fun," Chesney says on his website.

As such, audiences watching him perform at the Cruzan Ampitheatre this August may take this sentiment to heart and round off their evening with a cocktail at nearby luxury Florida hotel the Chesterfield Palm Beach after the show.
