For a fun family day out while supporting a good cause for those staying at luxury Florida hotel the Chesterfield Palm Beach this June, why not take a trip to the zoo.

On June 28th 2008, Strike for Conservation Bowl-A-Thon at Palm Beach Zoo will take place, a special money-raising event that will entertain and educate children and hopefully adults too.

US television's CBS News presenter Liz Quirantes will join Palm Beach Zoo keepers, trainers, educators and volunteers for the Strike for Conservation Bowl-a-Thon.

During the evening, bowlers will compete to raise money and awareness for endangered animals around the world.

Bowlers acquiring a minimum sponsorships amount before playing will receive complimentary bowling, shoe rental and refreshments in the form of pizzas and soft drinks.

Prize giveaways will also take place take away throughout the "festive evening".

Many other events are also due to take place at the zoo this June, including free admission to the first 500 fathers and grandfathers visiting the Palm Beach Zoo on Father's Day (June 15th) and Fiesta Latina, a celebration of the cultural and biological diversity of Central and South America taking place every Saturday in June.
