Palms WestFest

Event: Palms WestFest
Date: March 1st and 2nd 2008

Country and Western music is coming to Florida in March this year and guests of luxury Florida hotel The Chesterfield Palm Beach will have the opportunity to join in.

On March 1st and 2nd 2008 the Palms WestFest, organised by the Palms West Chamber of Commerce, will be held at the Municipal Complex in Royal Palm Beach.

This year's event is the 25th anniversary of WestFest and as such, the festival is "going green".

Activities for guests of luxury Florida hotel The Chesterfield Palm Beach to watch and take part in will include a Battle of the Burgs contest - where local City officials compete for the title of the best burger, a Pirates and Princesses contest, rock climbing, games and dancing while a sports zone will also be in place.

Acts booked to play include a Jake & Elwood Blues Brothers show, Beatlemania Now and Montana Tucker.

The country music and art festival will also feature Nashville acts and local bands in addition to children's activities, What's On When reports.
