Graduate Management Trainees

We are looking for a graduate with the drive and motivation to take on a management programme. It is not for the faint hearted! This is a comprehensive training programme which allows the graduate to experience all the departments in the hotel, while gaining an insight into how they co-exist. Your programme is broken down as follows:

• 9 months Rooms Division
• 5 months Food & Beverage
• 6 months Summer Lodge
• 1 month Sales / Marketing
• 1 month Human Resources
• 1 month IT and Accounts
• 1 month Project work in a Red Carnation Hotel Property abroad

During your time in each department, you will have the chance to work at all levels up to management, so you will run a shift in the bar and manage the hotel during the night. You will also be assessed continuously through project and presentation work.

Throughout the two years you are assigned a mentor who will work with you and support you in your role. This relationship is important and helps the graduate develop and grow. You will also enjoy training which has been accredited by The Institute of Leadership and Management. Upon completion of the two years you will be offered a management position.
