Safari Nights and Museum Lates

  • Category: Family Fun

If you're looking for some alternative evening fun for all the family to enjoy this summer during your Palm Beach holiday, consider seeking out the Safari Nights and Museum Lates events taking place this summer.

From the beginning of June until mid-October, two of the city's finest attractions - Palm Beach Zoo and the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium - will be running extended hours with plenty of activities for kids and adults alike to enjoy.

At the zoo, families will have the opportunity to see the animals come to life in the evening, with additional feeding times and talks with the keepers. There will also be face-painting, arts and crafts sessions, and a DJ dance party for the kids. Safari nights run on Fridays from 5:30pm until 9pm.

Meanwhile, those heading to the Museum Lates at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium will be treated to stargazing opportunities at the establishment's extensive observatory, as well as the chance to wander the moonlit galleries away from the crowds. These take place throughout the week on various days and run from 6pm until 9pm.

Both events will be held according to a shared monthly theme, with visitors encouraged to dress up as various animals depending on which month it is. For more information, check the appropriate websites.

Whether you're planning to do these events with your family or with a group of friends, be sure to check into the Chesterfield Palm Beach with the Vacation Together package. This allows you to save up to 50 per cent off your second booked room, meaning you'll have more cash to spend on fun activities during the day.
