International Learn to Fly Day

  • Category: Family Fun

North County Airport in Palm Beach will be holding a very special event this spring - a free-for-all family extravaganza that is all about mankind's desire to fly.

The fun begins early at 8am sharp with a pancake breakfast, and there will then be opportunities to participate in helicopter rides, sit in the cockpit of incredible aircrafts and even witness extraordinary military displays.

But it's not all about the honour and splendour of being a pilot, families will also get the chance to look at some of the many roles that happen behind the scenes on a major airfield, such as air traffic controllers, mechanics and even baggage handlers.

There will be plenty of food on sale throughout the day, as well as live music to keep the family entertained.

Kick back at The Chesterfield Palm Beach, where you can all relax as part of the special Vacation Together offer that can be especially tailored for families.
