Category: Family Fun Date: Monday, 01 January 0001 The Johnson History Museum will this year play host to Palm Beach's fourth annual Scarecrow Festival, a trademark event that sees locals and tourists alike pay tribute to this noble countryside guard. Responsible for scaring away crows from recently sown seeds for hundreds of years, the humble scarecrow will be honoured at the museum with a bake sale, pumpkin decorating workshop, corn shucking contest and an agricultural display from local farmers. As well as these events, attendees will be able to create their very own scarecrows, with the best specimen to be decided by an official panel. The winner will be awarded a prize. The festival takes place on Saturday November 2nd from 11am until 2pm in West Palm Beach.
