Priscilla: Queen of the Desert at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts

  • Category: Music & Theatre

The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts will be staging a performance of the musical sensation Priscilla: Queen of the Desert from April 23rd to 28th 2013.

Based on the cult 1994 film The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, which starred Hugo Weaving, Guy Pearce and Terrence Stamp, this heartwarming and flamboyant stage show has become a massive hit on the West End, Broadway and across the world.

It tells the story of two drag queens and a transsexual who embark on a trip across rural Australia in a battered old bus in order to perform a cabaret show, encountering memorable characters and going through life-affirming experiences along the way.

Recommended for audiences over the age of 13, the show is an examination of love and friendship that combines big laughs with heartfelt emotion.

This could be ideal for luxury Florida hotel guests enjoying a Sweethearts Package at The Chesterfield Palm Beach Hotel, which includes all sorts of extras aimed at couples, such as a romantic dinner, chocolate-covered strawberries and a list of the best places to kiss in Palm Beach.
